Know which leads
came from where.

The phone rang eleven times last week. Which marketing paid for those calls? If the honest answer is a shrug, this is the fix: every inquiry counted once, with its source attached.

A GOOD FIT WHEN

The report says “traffic”. You need it to say “leads”.

Sessions, bounce rate and “engagement” never paid an invoice. What you need is a plain count of calls and forms, and the name of the channel that produced each one.

  • You pay for ads, SEO or a directory and cannot say which one produced last month’s calls.
  • GA4 was installed once, and nobody has opened it since.
  • The phone rings, and no one records where the caller found you.
  • You are about to spend more, and want to know what the last dollar did first.

Every marketing service we sell depends on this being right. That is why it is a service of its own.

WHAT WE SET UP TOGETHER

Every inquiry, counted once, with its source.

Four pieces. Skip any one and the numbers quietly stop meaning anything.

GA4 and Tag Manager, done properly

Key events for calls, forms, quotes, bookings and chat, named so a human can read them. Internal traffic filtered. AI assistants and directories split out so you can see them.

Call and form tracking

A number that swaps by source, so a call from an ad is counted as an ad lead. Forms that record the page, the source and the question, sent to your inbox and CRM.

The connections

Search Console and Business Profile linked. Ad platforms importing real conversions. Your CRM receiving the source with the lead. Consent handled without breaking the data.

The monthly report

One page: inquiries by source, cost per inquiry where there is spend, what changed and what we recommend. Open it any day, not only when we send it.

SAME MONTH, TWO REPORTS

One of these helps you decide something.

Both are built from the same website and the same thirty days. Only one tells you where to put next month’s budget.

What most reports say

Illustrative example

  • Sessions1,204
  • Bounce rate61%
  • Average engagement time0:47
  • Impressions18,930
  • What to do next—

What yours will say

Illustrative example

  • Business Profile$0
  • Organic search$34
  • Google Ads$56
  • Paid directory$189

Next step writes itself: cancel the directory, move the money to what works.

FROM AUDIT TO MONTHLY HABIT

Four stages. Clear decisions.

01

Audit

What is installed, what fires, what is double-counted, what is missing. Written up with the fix list.

02

Build

Tag Manager, GA4 events, call and form tracking, platform connections. Tested with real calls and submissions.

03

Verify

Live data checked against your inbox and phone log, so the numbers match reality before anyone acts on them.

04

Report

The dashboard goes live and the monthly report starts. Tracking is rechecked, because sites and plugins change.

INVESTMENT & TIMING

Small fixed prices. Large decisions.

Tracking audit

$299

Already tracking?

For sites where something is installed and nobody trusts it.

  • What is broken and what is missing
  • Duplicate tags and double counting found
  • Written fix list, ranked
  • Credited toward setup if we do the work

Full setup

$699

Most common

Everything needed to answer “where did that lead come from?”

  • GA4, Tag Manager and key events
  • Form tracking and one tracking number
  • Search Console and Business Profile linked
  • Live dashboard, about two weeks

Reporting and upkeep

$199/month and up

Monthly

The report, and someone making sure it is still true.

  • One-page monthly report
  • Tracking rechecked every month
  • First hour of changes included
  • Included in our marketing retainers

Call-tracking numbers are billed by the provider, usually $30 to $60 a month for a small business. Your proposal names every third-party cost.

WHAT HELPS THE WORK MOVE

Bring the accounts and the phone log.

Your part

  • Admin access to your website, Analytics, Search Console and Business Profile.
  • Access to any ad accounts you run.
  • A note on how the phone is answered, and by whom.
  • Last month’s inquiries, so we can check numbers against reality.

What we will not do

  • Track people. We track inquiries and their sources.
  • Sell, share or reuse your data.
  • Ignore consent rules where they apply.
  • Keep access you did not ask us to keep.

Before you get started.

Do we need a cookie banner?

It depends on where your visitors are and what you track. Most Quad Cities service businesses do not need one for basic analytics; if you advertise to visitors in states or countries with consent laws, we set up consent mode so the data keeps working.

Will a tracking number hurt our local SEO?

Not if it is done right. Your main number stays on the site and in your Business Profile; the tracking number only swaps in for visitors from the sources being measured.

Can this feed conversions into Google Ads?

Yes, and it should. Imported calls and forms are what let the ad platform optimize for leads instead of clicks. It is part of the setup.

We already have GA4. Why is the data wrong?

Usually a duplicate tag, a form that never fires an event, internal traffic counted as visitors, or a plugin that added its own tracking. The audit finds it in an afternoon.

Do you need to keep access afterward?

Only if you take the monthly reporting. Otherwise we hand over documentation, remove our access and you keep everything.
