Our services

A website redesign that keeps your rankings and fixes what stopped working.

Website redesign services for B2B and service companies: a new design, a cleaner structure, faster pages, and a redirect map that protects the search traffic you already earned. Fixed-price scope in writing, from $1,499.

Our perspective

Most redesigns fail in one of two ways: they change the look and leave the real problems in place, or they change everything and lose the rankings the old site quietly earned. This process avoids both.

When to redesign

Five signs the site is costing you work

01

It no longer describes the business

You added services, dropped others, moved upmarket, or started selling to other businesses, and the site still tells the story from three years ago. Buyers cannot tell what you do now.

02

It looks smaller than you are

Prospects compare you with larger competitors on their phone before they ever call. A dated design, stock-template layout, or broken mobile experience quietly loses that comparison.

03

It is slow and heavy

Page-builder bloat, oversized images, and a pile of plugins push load times past three seconds. Speed is a ranking factor and a conversion factor at the same time.

04

Nobody can edit it

Changing a price or adding a service means calling the last developer, or not doing it at all. A redesign should leave you with clean, editable content areas and a walkthrough.

05

Leads dropped and nobody knows why

Forms that fail silently, tracking that was never set up, calls to action buried below the fold. A redesign starts with measuring where the current site loses people, not with a mood board.

What a redesign actually covers

01

A look at what works today

Before anything is designed, we read your Search Console and analytics data to find the pages that already rank, the paths visitors actually take, and the places they leave. Those pages get protected, not rebuilt for the sake of it.

02

Structure around what you sell now

A new sitemap with one clear page per service, proof where doubt shows up, and a call to action on every page. Old content is kept, rewritten, merged, or retired on purpose.

03

Custom design and a lean build

Designed for your business, coded without page-builder weight, and tested on real phones. You own the domain, hosting, content, and code when it is done.

04

Redirects, schema, and search continuity

Every URL that changes is mapped to its replacement before launch. Titles, descriptions, structured data, and internal links are rebuilt so search engines see an upgrade, not a new unknown site.

05

Launch, then watch the numbers

Forms tested end to end, conversion events firing, sitemap resubmitted, and a 30-day check on rankings and leads so any wobble gets caught early.

Redesign without losing the traffic you spent years earning.

Rankings live in specific URLs, headings, and internal links. A redesign that ignores them can drop a business out of local search for months. We map every old URL, keep the pages that rank, rewrite rather than delete, and monitor Search Console for the first month after launch. Companies in Moline, Davenport, Bettendorf, and Rock Island depend on that local visibility; so does every B2B firm whose buyers search before they call.

How it works

From current site to relaunch

01

Review and scope

A call about goals, then a written review of the current site: what to keep, what to fix, what to cut, and a fixed price for the package that fits. If a full redesign is not the right move, we say so and suggest the smaller fix.

02

Structure and copy

New sitemap, page outlines, and copy structure, reviewed with you before design starts so the design serves the message instead of the other way around.

03

Design and build on a preview

You review the real site on a private preview address, on your own phone, with real content. Two revision rounds are included.

04

Launch and the 30-day check

Redirects go live with the site, tracking is verified, and we watch rankings and leads for a month. Then the site is yours, with a walkthrough and a care plan if you want one.

Questions

Website redesign answers

Q. How much does a website redesign cost?

A design-led refresh of an existing site starts at $1,499. A full rebuild with new structure, copy support, and redirects is $2,499 and up, with most landing between $2,500 and $4,500. Replatforming, multi-location sites, e-commerce, and portals start at $5,000. The number is fixed in writing before work starts.

Q. Will we lose our Google rankings?

Not if the redirects, headings, and content are handled properly, which is the point of doing it this way. Every changed URL is mapped before launch, ranking pages are kept or improved rather than deleted, and we monitor Search Console for 30 days after launch.

Q. How long does a redesign take?

A refresh takes two to three weeks. A rebuild takes four to six weeks, most of it waiting on content decisions and reviews. A replatform depends on how much is moving and is scheduled as part of the scope.

Q. Can we keep our current hosting and WordPress install?

Usually, yes. If the hosting is the reason the site is slow, we will tell you and suggest a move, but it is your call. You own everything either way.

Q. Can you redesign a Wix, Squarespace, or Shopify site?

Yes. Those usually become a replatform to a custom-coded WordPress build so the site is faster and fully yours, with the content and URLs carried across. Shopify stores can often stay on Shopify with a new theme, depending on what you sell.

Q. What happens to our existing content and blog posts?

They are audited first. Pages and posts that rank or convert are kept and improved. Thin or duplicate pages are merged or redirected. Nothing is deleted without a redirect plan.

Q. How is this different from a new website?

A new site starts from a blank page. A redesign starts from what your current site has already earned: rankings, links, content, and analytics. The process is built around protecting that while fixing what is broken. If you are starting from nothing, see custom web design instead.
